Vicki and I have created fairly rich garden soil using manure from our eastern Washington hay fed Arab horses and natural composting materials. We use no pesticides or chemicals. Our efforts have been successful growing a wide variety of vegetables and herbs. We are cultivating 15 different fruit and nut trees. Our production is primarily for ourselves, neighbors and family, so I and may not have a lot to offer from the garden.

We also have a complete woodworking shop and have agreements with two local mill operators for cedar, fir and maple lumber for my projects. This is our primary interest in selling. I have learned a bit about the things that are helpful for gardening – raised beds, trellises, cloches, stools, benches, etc. And plan to make products that are useful for gardening.

Our intention is to offer products that are made from Olympic Peninsula, sustainably harvested woods, locally milled and locally crafted.
