This page is where you can place your orders. If you're logged in to your account *and* the market is open, you will see quantity box an "Add to Cart" icon next to each item. If you just want one, click on the icon to add it to your cart. If you want more, you can either change the quantity and then click, or click the number of times you want.
Once you've finished shopping, click the checkout link in your shopping cart (located at the upper left side of this page, below this help area).
To order: Go to the specific item and click the Shopping Cart icon to order one of the items. To order more than one, change the number in the box to the quantity you desire. Your order will accummulate in the Shopping Cart box. When ordering is completed, click on Proceed to Checkout. On the next page, check your order for accuracy, then click the Place This Order button. You will receive an immediate email confirmation.

This GIFT CERTIFICATE comes in a gift envelope and is good for one person's participation in Magdalena's hands-on workshop.
The workshops are hosted by Groveland Cottage in Dungeness from 4 pm to 7 pm, in January, February or March. The recipient of the gift certificate will be able to choose a date.
This workshop is structured in the following way:
In the first half hour Magdalena will demonstrate the technique of making BIGOS, a national dish of Poland traditionally prepared in winter months, consisting of sauerkraut, sausages and meats.
Then she will demonstrate another national dish, GOLABKI (cabbage rolls), made with fresh cabbage, meat and rice.
For the next hour and a half the students will make golabki at their stations and take them home in their own casserole dish to cook or freeze. The workshop will end in a group tasting of the bigos and golabki made by Magdalena and a discussion of culinary topics. Printouts of recipes for both dishes will be available to all students.

This GIFT CERTIFICATE comes in a gift envelope and is good for one person's participation in a hands-on workshop at a future date. The workshops are from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Groveland Cottage in Dungeness in January, February or March.
Each workshop is structured in the following way:
In the first half-hour Magdalena demonstrates three different kinds of tamales, and different ways of tying them. Then, every participant gets a work station where they can create their own tamales for the next hour and a half. The sauce, husks, prepared masa, and all the ingredients for vegetarian and meat tamales are provided. Each participant with get a color thread to mark their own tamales. While the students are making their tamales, a batch of tamales made earlier by Magdalena will be steaming. When the students are finished, their tamales are arranged in the steamer, or prepared for the freezer. During the time the students' tamales are steaming, all students get to eat the tamales Magdalena made earlier and discuss culinary subjects.
Then each student packages their own tamales for taking home and sharing with family and friends.
